The DK Soup Live Show is cooking up the finest Heavyweights in Funk and Jazz blended with some splendid Rap tracks from back in the days and some other secret ingredients.
It is a weekly three hour live show, it's handmade, served hot, strictly vinyl and as the name suggests, brought to you by DK Soup. As the show is live and with no prep, there are no playlists available.
While previously broadcasted on yard.fm, it is now brought to you every friday from approx. 3-6pm CEST on mealsforwheels.com. Enjoy the meal.

Inspired by artists like Louis Hardin, Ken Nordine or jazz giant Davis himself, the Decker Theory lurks in the depths between poetry, jazz, noise and abstract beats to transform the underlying poetry into dark atmospheres and offset trumpet sound accompanied by scrambling drums. It was recorded in 2007 and 2008.

Emerging from a remix war on Soulstrut, this track was a quick shot at taking 80's saxophonist Kenneth Gorelick aka Kenny G. to a higher level.
If possible at all, this raw piece of classic beat construction might have archieved the mission.

DK Soup and the Mad Orchestra teamed up to produce a Record called "The Driving Patient" in 2007. Originally trying to close the gap between modern abstract electronic beat construction and bigband orchestra arrangements, the work ended up in blending original big band recordings into samples, breaks and post-recorded drumsets.
